Cricket, Centipede & Silverfish Control in Kent County, DE
Damp basement full of crickets, centipedes, or silverfish? We treat where they hide and help you fix the moisture that brings them in.
What we do

Camel crickets, house centipedes, silverfish, and millipedes all have one thing in common. They love moisture. Camel crickets are humped, long-legged, and silent, and they live in damp basements and crawl spaces. House centipedes are about an inch long with very long legs and hang out in bathrooms and basements. Silverfish are scaly and fast, with three tail bristles, and they chew paper, glue, and fabric. Treatment helps, but the bigger fix is drying things out and sealing gaps. We'll do both and show you what to change.

Common questions
How much is treatment for these pests?
It depends on the property and the pest. Call us and we'll give you a quote.
Do house centipedes hurt anything?
Not really. They eat other insects and spiders. Most people just don't want them running across the floor.
Are silverfish harmful?
They don't bite or spread disease, but they can damage books, wallpaper, clothing, and dry foods like flour.
Why are crickets in my basement?
Camel crickets like dark, damp spaces like basements and crawl spaces. A dehumidifier and sealing gaps go a long way.
What can I do to help?
Run a dehumidifier, fix leaks, keep groundcover trimmed about 18 inches back from the house, and keep firewood and leaves off the foundation.
