Flea Treatment in Kent County, DE
Fleas on the pets and bites on your ankles? We treat your home and walk you through the prep that makes it work.
What we do

Cat fleas are the most common fleas in homes, and they bite dogs, cats, and people. They're tiny, about 1/16 to 1/8 inch, brownish-black, and great jumpers. Eggs fall off your pet into carpet and bedding, and the young fleas can wait in their cocoons for up to a year before hatching. That's why one spray rarely does it. Good flea control is a team effort. Your vet treats your pets, you get the house ready, and we treat the home with a product that kills adult fleas plus a growth regulator that stops the young from maturing.

What to expect
1. Prep
Before we come, vacuum floors and furniture and throw out the bag, wash pet bedding, and have your vet treat your pets.
2. Treat
We treat the areas where fleas live and breed. We'll tell you when kids and pets can go back into treated areas.
3. Follow up
Fleas still in cocoons can hatch after treatment, so a follow-up visit is often part of the plan. Keep vacuuming in between.
How to get ready
- Vacuum all floors and furniture, then throw out the vacuum bag.
- Steam-clean carpets if you can.
- Wash all pet bedding.
- Have your vet treat your pets.
After your treatment
- Fleas still in their cocoons can hatch after treatment, so you may still see some for a while.
- Keep vacuuming, and keep your pets on the treatment your vet suggested.
- If they're still a problem within 30 days, call us and we'll come back at no extra charge.
Common questions
How much is flea treatment?
It depends on the property and the pest. Call us and we'll give you a quote.
What do I need to do before you come?
Vacuum all floors and furniture and throw out the bag, steam-clean carpets if you can, wash pet bedding, and get your pets treated by your vet.
Why am I still seeing fleas after treatment?
Flea cocoons can sit for months and hatch later. Keep vacuuming, and call us if they're still around.
Do I need to treat my pet too?
Yes. Treating the house without treating your pets won't hold. Your vet can recommend the right product.
Can fleas bite people?
Yes. Cat fleas bite both pets and people, and they can carry a tapeworm that affects dogs, cats, and humans.
