Rodent Exclusion in Kent County, DE
A mouse can squeeze through a hole the width of a pencil. We find those gaps and seal them so rodents stay outside.
What we do

Trapping handles the mice you have. Sealing keeps new ones from walking right back in. The CDC says a mouse can fit through a hole the width of a pencil, about 1/4 inch. That's why we go over your home or building looking for every small gap, from the foundation to the roofline. We check around pipes, vents, and utility lines, under sinks, behind appliances, and in attics and crawl spaces. Then we close those openings with materials rodents can't easily chew through. Rats can gnaw through plastic, so the material matters.
How we treat it
Small gap sealing
We fill small holes with steel wool backed by caulk or foam.
Larger opening repair
Bigger gaps get hardware cloth, metal, or cement, which rodents can't easily chew.
Full building check
We look from the foundation to the eaves so no common entry point gets missed.

Common questions
How much is rodent exclusion?
It depends on the property and the pest. Call us and we'll give you a quote.
How small a gap can a mouse get through?
The CDC says a mouse can fit through a hole the width of a pencil, about 1/4 inch.
Where do mice usually get in?
Common spots are gaps around pipes and utility lines, vents, the space between the foundation and the ground, and roof eaves and soffits.
Do I still need traps if you seal the house?
Usually, yes. Sealing keeps new rodents out, and trapping handles the ones already inside.
Can I just use spray foam?
Foam alone isn't enough for most gaps. Steel wool plus caulk or foam works for small holes, and bigger ones need metal, hardware cloth, or cement.
